Total net assets of mutual funds domiciled in Finland were 94.2 billion at the end of August. Total net assets decreased by 4.5 billion euros within the month. This was mainly due the unfavorable market development as total net redemptions were only worth 386 million euros. However, despite the drop, the total net assets remain higher than their level in the beginning of the year.
Net redemptions from long-term fixed income funds were worth 478 million euros and worth 186 million euros from short-term fixed income funds. Net redemptions from alternative funds totaled 4 million euros. On the other hand, equity funds had positive net subscriptions worth 196 million euros and asset allocation funds positive net subscriptions worth 86 million euros.
