Net subscriptions for mutual funds domiciled in Finland were 152 million euros in January. In addition, due to favorable market movements the funds’ combined asset value increased by over 200 million euros. At the end of January the aggregate net asset value of Finnish mutual funds was 106,9 billion euros.
Equity funds received the most net subscriptions with 198 million euros. The second largest net subscriptions were made in asset allocation funds, total of 169 million euros. However, net subscriptions for short term bond funds were negative 237 million euros. The net flow from short term bond funds to riskier asset classes usually indicates an increase in investor risk appetite.
