A total of EUR 1.3 billion of new capital was invested in investment funds registered in Finland in June. Fund capital also increased due to market developments. The total value of fund capital was EUR 186 billion at the end of the month.
New capital was invested in all main fund categories. Capital was invested in equity funds totalling EUR 429 million, combined funds totalling EUR 58 million, long-term interest funds totalling EUR 470 million, short interest funds totalling EUR 366 million and alternative funds totalling EUR 25 million.
