Investment Research is acquiring all shares in the Swedish investment reporting services provider Digital Portfolio Control AB from its operational management and Söderberg & Partners. The transaction brings together the market leaders in Finland and Sweden and creates the leading investment reporting specialist in the Nordic region.
Following the transaction, Investment Research and Digital Portfolio Control will together serve more than 400 reporting clients with combined investment assets of approximately EUR 130 billion.
Combining the companies’ expertise, technology and experience strengthens their ability to develop services and serve clients more broadly. At the same time, the transaction provides a strong foundation for Investment Research’s growth in the Nordic countries and, in the future, in other Northern European markets.

Services will continue as normal
The transaction does not require any action from clients of Investment Research or Digital Portfolio Control. The management and personnel of both companies will continue in their current roles, and client services will continue normally and without interruption.
For clients, the transaction means above all stronger resources for the continued development of services and technology, as well as the opportunity to benefit from a broader service offering in the future. Bringing together the expertise of Investment Research and Digital Portfolio Control combines broader experience in investment reporting, monitoring and analysis with a strong Nordic client base.
Current client services and cooperation will continue unchanged.
Söderberg & Partners to become the majority shareholder of Suomen Sijoittajapalvelut Oy
As part of the transaction, Söderberg & Partners will increase its ownership in Suomen Sijoittajapalvelut Oy, the parent company of the group, and become its majority shareholder. The transaction will not result in changes to the company’s management or Board of Directors.
The new ownership structure supports Investment Research’s long-term growth strategy and gives the group stronger capabilities to invest in the development of services, technology and international business. Söderberg & Partners’ Nordic expertise and resources will also support the growth of the Investment Research Group in existing and new markets.

Digital Portfolio Control originated as part of Wassum AB, founded in 1996, and was spun off as an independent company in 2016. The company employs eight people.

Suomen Sijoittajapalvelut Oy is the parent company of the Investment Research Group. Following the transaction, the company will employ a total of 45 people in Finland and Sweden. Our services generate approximately EUR 6.5 million in annual revenue.
